i wrote a book about running around a trailer park chased by boys that let to deep cuts on my legs and later deep cuts to my heart.  but it’s okay.  i wrote it all down on paper and found a handsomer boy who chases me around in the proper way now.

a note:

In college, I wrote my senior thesis about Jane Eyre, the protagonist and narrator of the classic novel named Jane Eyre.

I challenged that, in an effort to misconstrue the audience, Jane proved an unreliable narrator as she sought to cast a flattering light only upon herself, damning others’ reputations without divulging any faults of her own.

I may prove to you an unreliable narrator, dear reader, as I write these autobiographical experiences. Memoirs can prove challenging to write—they are, to simplify their nature, snapshots of particular moments in time, with many experiences stemming from years prior and under different types of emotional duress.

These are my snapshots.

My snapshots are neither impervious to mistakes nor perfect in their recollections. I am openly flawed and exceptionally hyper-aware of my shortcomings, which is why I have a therapist and a medium dose of anxiety meds.

As I sought to write my experiences in as much detail as I could remember, I shared only my side of the story. I take the accounts of the unnamed individuals in this book very seriously – the sides of their stories may be strikingly different from mine. I respect the sides of their stories with the same respect as I do my own; meanwhile, I do my best to preserve the integrity of these memories.

Thank You

I’m not sure how i even have my own website.  So thank you with every embarrassed neck lean i can muster from me.  I actually can’t believe this is a thing.
